Milking It is BuzzFeed Canada’s most successful short-form series to date. The premise is simple: we bring American celebrities into our studio and ask them to figure out how to open a Canadian bag of milk. The results are usually funny, occasionally messy, and have racked up millions of views across TikTok and Instagram
I co-created the series format alongside my fellow producers, developed the visual branding, and led the edit on every episode. This project is a personal favourite because it demonstrates how a hyper-local insight can be turned into a massive, cross-platform success story—and we’ll keep filming them until they finally discontinue milk bags.
